Formation flying with us in your Bonanza or Baron is fun, safe and challenging. You need to get acquainted with the basics and have a safety pilot fly with you for the first few sessions to get you used to flying near another aircraft.

When we say "take chances" we aren't talking about being reckless.  Life without risk would be pretty boring, but risk without discipline and management is foolhardy.  We all take formation flying very seriously.  We plan every detail, brief and debrief the entire flight every time, and strictly adhere to the rules and precedures that we have all drilled and practiced, making every flight as safe as possible.

Formation flying is demanding in that it takes your full concentration from the time you walk out to the flight line from the briefing, to the end of the debriefing after the flight.  You know you have had a workout!
